So here's the nearly famous Wayne Richards taking my first baby steps into the vast world of blogging. I'm confident...somewhat...that I can do this. There are people here at Riverbend Communications who grew up banging on a computer keyboard. When I was a kid we had clod fights for entertainment. We were always OUTSIDE...because there was nothing much fun to do INSIDE.

I'm going to practice my picture insertion now...by letting you know some of my favorite things......raindrops on roses & whiskers on kittens........

At the risk of sounding ridiculous...I'm in the July 4th mindset. It's true! I have about 5 weeks to get the audio...both script and music...fully produced so the fireworks company can start doing the choreography with the shells for this summers Melalueca Freedom Celebration. You bet, I'd like to have any of your ideas on great songs or thoughts for this years show.
Another thing that is really a highlight for me is the Classy 2nd Chance Prom. I love that night. The details are on the KLCE home page. Everyone has such a good time...and I just feed off that energy when I'm up there playing non stop dance music. I usually pull out a large number of what 'I' consider to be the greatest dance songs...but I'm always surprised by some of the requests I get that night. One of the really big challenges for me is the vast span of age groups we have there....from teens to grand-parents. If you are coming to our dance party and would like to request a song...you can just reply to me right here. I'd love to get your suggestions. I'm serious...no 'Dead Skunk In the Middle of the Road' ...please.
OK..I'm done. I have a headache from figuring out how to insert these pictures. This would be much easier if I could just have one of my kids take notes and maintain this blog for me. Stay Classy.....I'll see you on the radio.
Wayne
